About the Role
Regent Strategics, in collaboration with Persistent Systems, is seeking experienced Golang Developers to join the development teams supporting Intuit projects across the US.
This hybrid role offers an exciting opportunity to design, build, and optimize scalable, high-performance backend systems that power modern business applications.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop distributed systems and backend applications using Go (Golang).

Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices to support enterprise-level systems.

Utilize goroutines and channels for concurrency and parallel processing.

Integrate with SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB).

Troubleshoot and optimize system performance for scalability and reliability.

Write unit tests using Golang’s testing frameworks.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including DevOps, front-end, and QA.

Follow coding best practices and contribute to architecture discussions and code reviews.

Participate actively in developing coding standards and performance benchmarks.
Key Skills and Qualifications

6+ years of total software development experience.

3+ years of proven hands-on experience in Golang development.

Strong understanding of Go’s concurrency model, including goroutines and channels.

Proficiency in microservices architecture and REST API development.

Solid understanding of SQL/NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB).

Familiarity with version control tools like Git.

Hands-on experience with testing frameworks and performance tuning.

Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication and team collaboration abilities.

Proven ability to work in agile, fast-paced environments.
